The heart of this unique retirement community is a Georgian mansion, set in attractive grounds amidst rolling fields and woodland and offering retirement properties to rent in a variety of styles, including apartments, penthouses, single rooms and suites together with a number of retirement bungalows close to the picturesque mansion house.

Clare Park is a not for profit, charitable organisation, offering an alternative to retirement property ownership by providing accommodation on a simple All-Inclusive Monthly Residential Fee, encompassing every major living expense. We are committed to providing our residents with the best possible care, comfort and value.

A simpler way to enjoy retirement

At Clare Park, there’s no need to purchase a retirement property. Instead, residents make a one-off refundable loan and pay an all-inclusive monthly fee.

This approach allows residents to enjoy the benefits of independent retirement living without tying their capital up in property ownership. The loan is returned to the resident or their estate when their residency comes to an end.

The monthly fee covers accommodation and a wide range of services, including meals, housekeeping, heating, lighting, Council Tax, maintenance and use of the communal facilities, helping to make budgeting simple, predictable and worry-free.

These are designed to offer potential residents alternatives to suit their individual circumstances.

Clare Park’s scale of charges reflect our non profit making charitable status. The tax-free interest that is earned on the refundable loans is used to support the wide range of facilities that are available at Clare Park, so keeping our fees as attractive as possible. Fees are not subject to VAT.
